As a biographical note, the publisher began a career in journalism in 1979 in South Carolina has have served as a news reporter, sports editor of The Beaufort Gazette in SC and 7 years as publisher of The Southeast Georgian in Camden County, GA. He is also a nationally published freelance journalist.
